Valentine’s Day is the day of chocolates and flowers, but there are many other gifts that can be purchased for friends and significant others.

Almost every store has a massive section devoted to the holiday, and there are some lovely gifts that can be found in the aisles of pink and red. These gifts would be great to share your appreciation for a loved one:

  • Original stuffed animals (not just a basic bear)
  • Their favorite candy, but in festive packaging
  • Festive blanket
  • Festive stationary, for the writers
  • A coffee mug and their favorite coffee
  • Holiday socks
  • Bath bombs or bubble bath
  • Cologne or perfume
  • Sports Jersey
  • Concert or game tickets

Store bought gifts are always great, but some enjoy making DIY gifts for their loved ones. DIYs don’t have to be complicated or take a lot of time. The only essential is that they come from the heart.

  • Open when letters: these are letters that would make a loved feel better on a rough day or when they were feeling down.
  • Homemade card
  • Candies in a mason jar with a cute message
  • Scrapbook

Valentine’s Day can sneak up on many people, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t any time for buying gifts.

  • Romantic comedies and popcorn: for a night-in
  • A giftcard to their favorite restaurant
  • A heart-shaped pizza for a night in
  • A small plant for those with a green thumb
  • Chocolate covered strawberries, from a store or bakery
  • Shopping at their favorite store or mall.
  • A book by their favorite author

Gifts don’t mean anything if they don’t come from the heart. If there is love behind the gift that is given, it will be well-received.
