Spring sports are upon us again. Track is going to have and eventful and exciting 2019 season.

Senior, Derek Hayes a high jumper for LCN, explains what he wants this season to include.  

Q: Are you excited for the season and why? 

A: Yes, I am because it’s about to be my best year.

Q: What do you want to improve on?

A: Ummmm, my team leading skills.

Q: Who are you most excited to verse?

A: Fraser because we lose to them a lot so it would be nice to beat them.

 

Sophomore Jordan Mosley explains her goals for the season.

Q: Are you excited for the season and why?

A: I’m very excited for this season because I enjoy running, and I like perfecting my running skills. In general I’m running which is something I love to do so I’m having fun!

Q: What events do you run?

A: My events are the 200, 400, 4×4, and I will be trying hurdles this year!

Q: Who are you most excited to verse?

A: I’m most excited to verse Sterling Heights, Dakota, and Warren Mont.

 

Junior Kierstin Hayes explains what she wants her season to look like.

Q: Are you excited for the season and why?

A: Yeah because the girls team is going to try and win Mac Blue for the third year.

Q: What events do you run?

A: 100 and 300 hurdles

Q: What do you want to improve on?

A: I want to try and improve my hurdle time.

Q: Who are you most excited to verse?

A: Ummmm, I would say Cousino because their female hurdlers are really good, and they are a pretty good team.
