Ms. Hannawi interview

How long have you been teaching?

10 years.

 

What subject do you teach?

Social Studies & English.

 

Tips for a student to succeed in your class?

Students should always have good communication, try to set goals, and strive for self-improvement. Not only are these good skills for school, but I also believe them to be necessary for a successful future.

 

Hobbies during/ outside of school?

I enjoy traveling, writing, gardening, and playing video games in my spare time.

 

What are you most excited about when joining the LCN staff?

Making a return to a school I love because of its fabulous employees and ambitious, hard-working students!

 

Ms. Scapini interview

How long have you been teaching?

In the fall, I will start my 10th year of teaching.

 

What subject do you teach?

English, I taught at LCHS for 6 years and have been at Middle School-Central for 3. I’m looking forward to returning to the high school level.

 

Tips for a student to succeed in your class?

Take responsibility for your choices, ask for help if you need it, and do your best. Be respectful and kind.

 

Hobbies during/ outside of school?

I teach Leadership as an elective at the middle school, so I really like volunteering and doing things to promote a positive school community. I also enjoy reading, hand lettering, crocheting, traveling, and referencing The Office.

 

What are you most excited about when joining the LCN staff?

Rumor is that LCN has great school spirit. I’m excited to be part of that.
