Q: What sport are you going for and what college?

A: Soccer at Illinois State University.

Q: How long have you been playing soccer?

A: Since I was four year old.

Q: How did you get this scholarship? Contact a coach?

A: The Illinois State coach saw me playing at the US Youth Soccer National Championships and emailed my coach to have me contact him.

Q: When and why did you make the decision that you wanted to play college sports?

A: I wanted to play sports in college because I love the sport and didn’t want to give it up. I made the decision around freshman year when college coaches started coming to our games.

Q: Describe how big this commitment is and how you plan to balance the student/athlete life.

A: Committing was the biggest accomplishment of my life. It really showed me hard work pays off. I plan to balance the student/athlete life by using my resources they give me in college with tutors. I can stay focused in school while also working just as hard in soccer.
