Is Rob Gronkowski going to be the next WWE superstar?

   Retired NFL football player Rob Gronkowski has reportedly signed with WWE. He is currently a football analyst on FOX Sports, making him closely tied to Friday Night SmackDown, which owns the broadcasting rights. Gronk’s last appearance on WWE was WrestleMania 33, which was in 2017, and to back up his real-life friend Mojo Rowley. WWE teased Gronkowski’s return on their website on March 11, and hinted to stay tuned as more information evolves. According to The Wrap, he has signed and will make his debut on the March 20th episode of Friday Night SmackDown. FOX Sports posted the same message that WWE posted on their website:

Fans are definitely excited to see what the future holds for this former New England Patriots tight end, and his wrestling career.
