Movies, documentaries, and tv shows are constantly changing as well as peoples likes and dislikes, and you can see that reflected on what they start to watch or don’t. That’s precisely how we can get the top 5 or top ten on Netflix. Since everything is changing, the following is the recent top five on Netflix..

  1. Starting off with number five is: “The Circle” (a social media competition), going on season two already with around 13 episodes each. This reality tv show is a social experiment where players flirt and do everything in their power to get themselves a $100,000 prize for this competition. During the finale the contestants rate each other and the highest rated ends up winning.
  2. Number four is called “The Baker and the Beauty” where, as mentioned in the title, a fashionista and baker from Miami tries to make romance work for them. They try to get through many troubles such as paparazzi’s as well as other third parties, like intruding exes and invasive family members.
  3. “Life In Color” with David Attenborough is currently number three. Falling categories like British, Science, Nature Docs, and Ecology Documentaries. A new Netflix original that is growing already with its first season out for all those nature lovers out there.
  4. Ranking number two is “Stowaway” starring Anna Kendrick, Toni Collette, Shamier Anderson and Daniel Dae Kim. This drama/thriller movie had everybody on the edge of their seats by being suspenseful, dark and cerebral. Could you imagine being in a life threatening situation? On top of that, being in outer space on a mission to Mars with an unexpected passenger that’s at fault for your life being in danger…. What else could go wrong?
  5. Last on this list but certainly not least and currently taking the spot of number one “Shadow and Bone” Another new Netflix series with its first season recently released on April 23rd. Currently with eight episodes where “dark forces conspire against orphan mapmaker Alina Starkov when she unleashes an extraordinary power that could change the fate of her war-torn world.” as Netflix describes it. Starring Jessie Mei Lei, Ben Barnes, Freddy Carter, Amita Suman and Archie Renaux. If you really enjoy fantasy or tv shows that are based on books this is the universe just trying to give you a signal. It would certainly be a good match especially with all the positive reviews left on rotten tomatoes, an American review-aggregation website for film and television.
